Ask the supplier to show the areas that relate directly to your packaging: design and prepress, printing, die-cutting, surface finishing, hand assembly, inspection and packing.
The goal is to understand where project information changes hands and which checkpoints connect the approved sample to bulk production.

SECTION 02
Review current documents by purpose
A certificate must be checked for holder name, scope, issuing body and validity. Do not assume one certificate proves every material, social-compliance or product claim.
Project-specific declarations or third-party tests may still be required by the destination market or buyer program.

SECTION 03
Verify the first order through records
A controlled first order should leave a traceable chain: requirement review, structure and material decision, approved sample, artwork approval, production checkpoints, final inspection and packing evidence.
Request examples of the records that will be used on your project and agree critical dimensions, appearance points and release requirements before the schedule is confirmed.
